We’re happy to share a beautiful new video series from Tomer Baruch of Animals and Synthesizers, exploring sound design for moving images with Filterverse. In “Sound Designing with Filterverse”, Tomer uses the three layers of a single Filterverse instance to shape evolving, cinematic soundtracks for the delicate and hypnotic visuals of artist Hiroshi Takagishi. The result is a gentle, artful dialogue between picture and sound, where both slowly transform together.
If you’re looking for inspiration on how to approach sound design in a more visual, atmospheric way, these pieces are a lovely place to start. They show how subtle movement, filtering, and layering can turn simple material into something evocative and deeply musical.
We’d love to see how this inspires your own work with Filterverse and sound design for moving images.
