STACY GAUDREAU

Polyverse Team About Us Picture Stacy Gaudreau

Stacy has been playing with synthesizers and electronic music production since his teens. From a young age, he developed a fascination with taking electronic hardware apart to understand how it works.

Later in life, it came as no surprise when he learned how to design his own synthesizers, dropping out of electronics engineering school to start a hardware modular synth company. Based out of Montreal, Canada, Hexinverter Électronique was a staple of the Eurorack modular synthesizer industry for more than a decade, where Stacy designed and developed over a dozen inspiring analog and digital instruments for musicians and sound designers to use.

Fast forward to today, and Stacy has left the hardware world behind to focus his creative energy on software development. At Polyverse, he is responsible for programming the components that our users see, feel and touch. He aims to bring his experience developing tactile hardware user interfaces into the digital realm.
