Letsynthesize Drops Filterverse On Bass

If you’re into detailed, modern bass sound design, Dan Larsson from Letsynthesize has put together a great exploration of how Filterverse fits into that workflow. In his latest video, he focuses on using filters before distortion and compression to sculpt overtones, then leans on Filterverse’s three filter instances, routing options, and individual drive controls to turn a solid bass into something far more complex and animated.

Across the walkthrough, Dan goes through a wide selection of Filterverse types and presets – from Vowel (a favorite for neuro basses) and Decimate, to more experimental flavors like Cyberdog, Space, Phaser, Coil Sphere, Ten Pitch, Ripples, Coils, and Barber Pole. He also brings in modulators such as random and sequencer to keep the sound evolving, and finishes by showing a powerful resampling technique: printing the processed audio, dropping it into a sampler, and pushing it even further.

If you’re looking for ideas on using Filterverse not just as a tone shaper but as a full-on bass sound-design instrument, this video is a great source of inspiration.
